Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the awesome people of The Broke and the Bookish
Yay! A day for shoutouts basically! I understand that in the grand scheme of the book blogging community I am rather small. But hey! I’m working on it! haha well here are some people that I truly love and follow! Check them out if you haven’t yet! Let me just also say that I follow just about all of these people on Instagram, Twitter, and Goodreads. Just click on their picture to go to their websites and check them out for yourself!
This has to be one of the very FIRST book bloggers I found through Twitter. One of my favorite things that I love are the fun activities that this blog does that involves anybody and everybody. This blog is constantly doing something and doing giveaways and prizes. Other than the book reviews I love the fun of this blog. I have chatted and talked with the owner Jaime and follow her everywhere, Goodreads, Twitter, Instagram (@Jaimearkin)
Justin’s Book Blog
It’s rare you find a male doing YA book reviews. This is Justin. He is one of the nicest people I’ve met. I’ve known and followed him for about 2 years now. He has been one of the biggest helps to me as a book blogger in regards to reaching out to publishers, getting advance reader copies, advice, and support. Not only is he just a wonderful person in general, his reviews are nice and honest. I love it. You can also chat it up with Justin on Twitter (@Justin_941)
Reading After Midnight
I can’t remember how I found this blog (I think through Goodreads) and I just fell in love with her site. It’s absolutely stunning and that’s one reason why I keep going back. She is someone who has very similar tastes in books as me and she is super creative and honest with her reviews. She is a lover as a person and she makes me excited and desirous to read books that she’s loved.
Dark Faerie Tales
With a TON of reviewers on this blog I just follow them on Goodreads. I absolutely love the way they review. They do this “Quick and Dirty” which is literally just a few sentence of them summing up the book in their own words. It helps me out a lot when decided if I want to read the book. Beneath they they break it down into what they did and did not like about the book. I just absolutely love and trust their views.
I am absolutely amazed at how much this person reads! I’m not sure if it’s just one person or multiple but they are always on my Goodreads feed with books reviews. This person reads all types of books and is one of the biggest reviewers on Goodreads with the amount of books and reviews they give. They are honest and nice they are well thought out and articulated reviews. It’s rare we don’t agree on a book and I appreciate the amount of books I can check out.
Khanh (the Grinch)
She literally goes by this. Why you may ask? because this person is SUPER hard to please when it comes to books. However once I realized why she likes things the way she does and what books are her favorite, well I started paying more attention. Her reviews are all ranting or raving and absolutely if filled with language. So if you don’t mind hardcore language well then she would be someone to follow. I actually enjoy reading why she disliked or liked a book!
You know, I follow A LOT of people on instagram and I see A LOT of book posts. Sometimes, for me, less is more and I really enjoy her photos and bookish pictures. I just love them. I also follow Stacee on Goodreads and Twitter but her instagram account is my favorite to follow.
I Love BookTube and I love bookbloggers and just the whole booking community. This was super hard to narrow down and even then that was super hard. So to name a few (which will exceed my “10”) Here are some bookish people I love to follow and watch:
