Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the awesome people of The Broke and the Bookish
I am EXTREMELY hard to please when it comes to audio books, there just want to be that special talented person who is able to read ALL parts and not make me cringe when they are trying to do a voice of the opposite sex. SO here are books that I listened to and was able to completely lose myself in the book because of their talent.
Paul Michael was awesome and I was riveted that I found myself sitting in the car waiting just listening to him tell the story. Oh it was awesome! One of the FIRST audio books I listened to.
This was how I feel in love with the False Prince Trilogy. Charlie McWade was BRILLIANT! I picked up this book because it sounded intriguing and I needed something to listen to. Well I couldn’t stop listening to him! I immediately bought the books because this audio book got me hooked on this trilogy!
For someone who HATES the roaring twenties, January LaVoy made me love it. She was amazing when it came to the voices of this story. She was able to bring me into what the author wanted me to see and dive into. Oh wow. I can’t tell you how well she brought to life the voice of Evie our main character.
I think that those of us who have listened to Harry Potter on audio can bow to the master of all voices-Jim Dale. I don’t know of ANYONE who didn’t love these audio books. We bow to you Jim, we bow!
This one was just entertaining. Something that didn’t make me cringe or get bored. which is very noteworthy. Khristine Hvam-don’t ask me how you pronounce that did a great job of not making me want to die when listening to the other characters. She was nice to listen to.
I needed a book to keep me awake for my shift of an 11 hour drive and this did the trick. I was disappointed when we arrived at our destination because I became inthralled with the story. Renee Raudman made me forget my long shift of driving 5 hours between 1am-6am as I was able to enjoy this Urban Fantasy.
Michael Maloney was soo good, you have to be in order to get the emotion across needed for this book. He was so amazing because he did all ages and what-not for this book. By the end of the book I was just blown away because he was able to bring the emotion necessary to really get this book.
Because I don’t usually listen to audio books these are the books that I enjoyed because of the narrator. Sorry I only have six but hey, I eventually will get to ten and this also made me realize I should try more audio books!
what are some books you enjoyed listening to? I could always use some recommendations!
