This just in: romance takes center stage as West End theatre’s Richard Troy steps out with none other than castmate Elaine Graham
Richard Troy used to be the hottest actor in London, but the only thing firing up lately is his temper. We all love to love a bad boy, but Richard’s antics have made him Enemy Number One, breaking the hearts of fans across the city.
Have the tides turned? Has English rose Lainie Graham made him into a new man?
Sources say the mismatched pair has been spotted at multiple events, arm in arm and hip to hip. From fits of jealousy to longing looks and heated whispers, onlookers are stunned by this blooming romance.
Could the rumors be right? Could this unlikely romance be the real thing? Or are these gifted stage actors playing us all?
This is another book that goodreads kept recommending to me and it’s another adult romance. It’s another book where two people that completely hate each other at first and and are forced into a situation where they have to be around each other all the time. It was too short of a book! I wanted more though! I honestly didn’t feel like I was reading only 199 pages so that goes to say that it was well written. I was completely enthralled with the story and couldn’t put it down. It was so cute!
Richard Troy is an very talented 35 years old stage actor. However he’s enigmatic, grumpy, arrogant, infuriating and he’s not very liked by anyone, his public or coworkers. His public image has been shot to the point it started to affect ticket sales. Bring in the troops consisting of their publicists and the rest of management because nobody is pleased about what’s happening plus Richards needs some good publicity.
Management decides to put polar opposite Lainie Graham who is loved by the public, little miss goodie-too-shoes, do-no-wrong, sweetheart of the stage to help salvage Richards public image….by making them fake a relationship.
They reluctantly agree to it and it’s just a wonderful fun story. Neither of them want to do this, neither of them are happy about it and it takes them a few tries to even pretend for the public eye that this could even possibly be real.
I really enjoyed the dry humor and Lainie’s character. She is sassy and I always enjoy books with a female character with some real wit. Yes please!
Overall I loved the story it was just a cute fun chick-lit night for me. A super easy read.
