I am pretty happy with the fact that I try to reach OUTSIDE the norm and find those hidden gems that may have less than 1,000 rating on goodreads. You find them and don’t know how you shout louder how amazing these books are! Well here are the books I read in 2016 that I really enjoyed and maybe a few more…

Someone on my youtube channel recommended this book to me and I got and then kept putting it off, then I just started reading it one day and couldn’t put it down and read it through the night! Yes, it was that good! it was super fascinating, unique and completely un-put-down-able.

This was just super fun. I really enjoy steampunk if it’s down well and this was done well. I loved the story and I loved the main character and I all around enjoyed the unique way of retelling the Beauty and the Beast classic. It was just soo good!

This series is brutal and harsh and freaking amazing! These two books have to be on my top list for 2016 and I would recommend these books to anyone! I have to own these! The idea of it all was great, the world building, time setting was spectacular, I just loved everything about this series, the romance, the character development. everything!

This book was unexpected, I think I found this book through goodreads or something but whatever the reason was, I’m glad I did! it was so fun! This book has a lot more rates and reviews than the others but still a very underrated and unknown book.
Act Like It by Lucy Parker
Goodreads Ave. Rating: 4.0 Stars
Goodreads Rates: 2,916

This was so fun and I love these types romances where they hate each other and then fall in love it’s just so fun!
Some other noteworthy books to definitely look into that just don’t get enough hype.
Beyond the Strandline by Linda L. Zern
Goodreads Ave. Rating: 4.24 Stars
Goodreads Rates: 17
Goodreads Reviews: 11
This book is completely unknown and it needs to be! Probably due to the fact that it’s self published but IT’S SO GOOD!!!
What makes this book so amazing is the fact that it’s so freaking realistic! Like this crap could literally actually happen. Which makes this book that much more interesting and cool to read. The writing is great and the romance is perfect man this book needs more credit!
Eleanor and the Iron King by Julie Daines
Goodreads Ave. Rating: 3.92 Stars
Goodreads Rates: 893

I so loved this story. It caught me by surprise so many times that it’s a book so worth owning! It’s a perfect clean romance with that hint of paranormal activity. It’s got everything that makes this an amazing story. Mystery, swoon-worthy characters, good guys, romance, action, feisty female character just so much.
